Sometimes an object is enough: a floating travertine shelf that brings order to a wall, a sculptural marble stand on the dresser, a low piece that is neither table nor sculpture and works as both. This collection gathers the atelier’s smaller formats — natural stone decor objects carved by hand with the same rigour as our dining tables, because the material does not care about scale. They are the entry point to natural stone: pieces that change a room without touching anything else, and the gift that resembles no other. We work travertine in cream and light tones, and polished marbles for the accents. Like everything at Pietra by Bianca, each object is handmade to order with a 60–90 day lead time, and carries the unrepeatable veining of its block — buying two will never mean buying the same thing twice. Frequently asked questions
How do I clean travertine and marble objects?
Soft cloth, warm water, neutral soap; nothing acidic or abrasive. Decorative pieces need minimal upkeep: an occasional wipe, and a re-seal every year or two if they see use with liquids.
Does the floating shelf include its mounting system?
Yes — a concealed bracket rated for the weight of the piece, with installation instructions. We recommend fixing into solid wall, or chemical anchors in hollow brick; we advise based on your wall.
Why are two of the same piece never identical?
Because each is carved from a different block of natural stone: veining, tone and porosity change block to block. It is the signature of the material — and the guarantee that your piece is one of a kind.
Do you make custom objects or special gifts?
Yes. The custom-made service covers small formats too: your dimensions, stone and finish, with the same 60–90 day handmade lead time.
