Pietra by Bianca was born on site. After dozens of renovations, one certainty kept returning on every project: nothing transforms a space like well-chosen natural stone.
From renovation to piece
We do not come from the furniture world — we come from renovations. For years we designed and remodelled homes, and on every project the same thing happened: the moment a room changed category was almost always the moment travertine or marble walked in.
We watched dozens of living rooms, entryways and bathrooms transform around a single piece of natural stone — a worktop, a table, a console. And we saw how hard those pieces were to find: either imitations, or out of reach.
That is how Pietra by Bianca began: to sell, directly, the natural-stone pieces we used to specify for our clients. Handmade, made to order and one of a kind — no middlemen, no stock. What we learned renovating homes now goes into every piece.

The process
Four steps, no shortcuts
From raw block to the piece delivered to your home: a 60–90 day lead time we do not know how to shorten — and do not want to.
Selecting the stone
Every commission begins with the block: tone, veining, porosity. On request, we send photographs of the selected stone before the first cut.
Hand carving
Cutting, turning and carving by artisans. The tools leave their subtle trace — the difference between a piece that is made and a piece that is manufactured.
Finishing
Honed, brushed or polished depending on the piece, then sealed with a penetrating impregnator. The surface leaves protected and ready for daily life.
Home delivery
Timber crating and careful carrier transport to your home address, across the EU. It arrives ready for you to position; for heavier pieces we recommend a second person and clear access.
Materials
The stones of the atelier
Travertine
Our signature stone. Warm, porous, serene: a limestone with geological memory that ages better than any industrial material. We work it honed, filled, or with the pores left open.
Marble
Carrara, Nero Marquina, Calacatta Viola, Rosso Levanto. When a room calls for presence, marble answers — with veining no block ever repeats.
Onyx & limestone
Onyx, translucent and theatrical, for accent pieces. Limestone, sober and matte, for those who want stone in a quieter voice. Both, always made to order.

No stock, no series
We only make what someone is waiting for. Less efficient, more honest.
Variation is the signature
The veining of your piece exists in no other. We do not correct it — we celebrate it.
Decades, not seasons
We design pieces to stay. A stone table is not replaced with the trends; it is inherited.
