Description
Tonda is the round travertine dining table that organises life around it: one hundred and twenty centimetres of natural stone on a solid cylindrical base — no legs in the way, no head of the table imposing hierarchies. At a round table everyone sees each other; at a stone one, everyone touches it too. The honed, filled top is made for the real use of a dining room — plates, glasses, elbows, long conversations after dinner — and ships factory-sealed. Each Tonda is hand-carved to order in 60–90 days, with the warm, unrepeatable veining of its block. Home delivery across Europe, crated in timber and in parts (base and top separately). For four every day, and for six when the kitchen smells like Sunday.

Care
Wipe after each use with a soft cloth and neutral soap; do not leave wine or citrus on the stone for hours. Use trivets under very hot dishes. Re-seal once a year.

How to clean and seal travertineHow many people does the Ø120 cm Tonda seat?
The Tonda comfortably seats 4 to 6 around its 120 cm round top. The circular shape encourages conversation and suits compact dining rooms. At around 180 kg, it arrives well crated at your home; we do not offer an installation service, so to move it into place we recommend several people and clear access.
Can I order the Tonda in a different diameter or stone?
Yes, we carve the Tonda to size in your chosen diameter and stone. Each piece is cut from a single block, with a 60 to 90 day lead time. Share your dimensions and we will advise on proportions, weight and available finishes.
