The process

From blueprint to your living room

Each piece is handmade to order, with a 60–90 day make-and-deliver lead time.

  1. Planning

    Planning

Every piece begins as a technical drawing: each measurement and curve is drafted to the millimetre before any stone is touched.

  2. Fabrication

    Fabrication

We select the blocks and our artisans carve, turn and hone the stone by hand in the atelier, one piece at a time.

  3. It arrives at your home

    It arrives at your home

Each piece is handmade to order in 60–90 days. It arrives well packed and is delivered to your door, ready to place wherever you like.

Beside the sofa, next to the bed, between two armchairs: it holds the book, the lamp, the glass, and it holds the eye. Our marble and travertine side tables are turned and carved by hand from blocks of natural stone. Calm cylinders, sculptural spheres, volumes that work as furniture and as sculpture in equal measure. The sheer weight of stone gives them a stability no lightweight piece can match; the natural veining gives them a surface that shifts with the light of the day. We work honed travertine in cream and walnut tones, and selected marbles for those who want contrast. Every natural stone side table is handmade to order with a 60–90 day lead time, and no two ever share the same veining. That is the nature of the material, and the reason these pieces age so well. They are the natural companion to our coffee tables, and the simplest way to bring natural stone into a room without rebuilding it. Small in size. Not in presence.

Before you order

Can a travertine side table be used outside?

On covered terraces, yes, with more frequent re-sealing. Fully exposed to the elements we advise against it: frost and acidic rain wear calcareous stone down over the years. Ask us, because some finishes suit outdoor use better.

How heavy is a stone side table?

Between 25 and 45 kg depending on the model. Enough weight for complete stability without fixings, yet one person can still reposition it with care. Exact weights are listed on each piece.

Will a glass of wine stain the travertine?

Sealed and wiped in time, no. The impregnator buys you time to clean spills before they penetrate. We recommend not leaving acidic liquids on the stone overnight and renewing the sealant periodically.

Can I order a custom height or diameter?

Yes. Every piece is carved to order, so adjusting dimensions is usually possible at little extra cost. Send us your measurements and we will confirm, typically within the same 60–90 day window.
