It gets inherited. Around a round marble dining table pass the long dinners, the quiet breakfasts, twenty years of conversation — and natural stone is one of the few materials that improves in the meantime. We carve every marble and travertine dining table from solid blocks: round, oval and rectangular tops on cylindrical or sculptural bases, with the weight and composure only stone provides. Honed, filled travertine gives a warm, practical surface for daily use; marble brings a more formal presence. Every top shows the veining of its own block, unrepeatable by definition: your table will not exist twice. Each piece is handmade to order with a 60–90 day lead time, and we adapt diameter and length to the real room — from the round travertine dining table for four to the two-metre oval for ten. Home delivery across Europe brings the table, crated and in parts, to your door. Some furniture changes with fashion. This should not be one of them.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can travertine handle daily dining use?

Yes, with two habits: trivets under very hot dishes, and wiping acidic spills (wine, citrus) rather than leaving them for hours. Every table ships sealed; re-seal once a year and the surface will take decades of real use.

What size do I need for 6 or 8 guests?

As a rule: Ø120–130 cm seats 4–6 on a round table; Ø150 cm seats 6–8; an oval or rectangular 200 × 100 cm seats 8–10 comfortably. We carve to order, so we adjust to your room to the centimetre.

How is a 200 kg table delivered?

The table is made to order and ships crated in timber, in parts (base and top separately), with home delivery within the EU. Given the weight, we recommend a second person and clear access to move it into place and rest the top onto the base; once set down, the piece is stable and freestanding.

Will the top veining match the photos?

It will be the veining of your block. Before carving, we send photographs of the selected stone for approval. Natural variation is part of the value — no two tables are alike.
