Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before commissioning your piece. If you cannot find the answer you are looking for, get in touch.

The standard production lead time is 60 to 90 days from order confirmation and deposit payment. You will receive status updates by email throughout the manufacturing process.

We deliver across the European Union with home delivery: each piece is custom-crated and delivered to your door, not left at the kerb. Delivery does not include an in-home carry-in, assembly, or placement service, so we recommend ensuring clear access and arranging help to move heavier pieces into their final position. For deliveries to the UK, Switzerland, the USA, or other countries, please contact us for a bespoke shipping quote.

Travertine and limestone are porous stones; we recommend applying a natural stone sealer before first use and every 6–12 months depending on usage. Polished marble is less porous but also benefits from sealing. We include specific care instructions for the chosen material with every order.

Wipe with a soft damp cloth and mild neutral soap. Avoid acidic products (vinegar, lemon), abrasives, or bleach, as they can damage the surface. For stubborn stains, use a cleaner specifically formulated for natural stone. Always dry the surface after cleaning.

Every block of natural stone is unique. Veining, tone, and texture vary from slab to slab — this is not a defect; it is the signature of natural stone. Before you confirm your order, we will send you photographs of the specific block or slab that will be used for your piece.

You may cancel at no charge within 72 hours of order confirmation, before production begins. Once manufacturing has started, cancellation without cost is not possible, as the stone has been cut specifically for your commission.

Some stones such as travertine can be used in a covered outdoor setting if properly sealed and protected from direct rain and frost. Polished marble is not recommended for outdoor use due to its sensitivity to temperature changes and moisture. Please consult us before ordering if you plan to use the piece outdoors.
