The process
From blueprint to your living room
Each piece is handmade to order, with a 60–90 day make-and-deliver lead time.
01Planning
Every piece begins as a technical drawing: each measurement and curve is drafted to the millimetre before any stone is touched.
02Fabrication
We select the blocks and our artisans carve, turn and hone the stone by hand in the atelier, one piece at a time.
03It arrives at your home
Each piece is handmade to order in 60–90 days. It arrives well packed and is delivered to your door, ready to place wherever you like.
It is the piece around which everything else finds its place. At Pietra by Bianca, every marble and travertine coffee table begins as a hand-selected block of natural stone, carved and finished by artisans. Round, oval and rectangular forms; honed surfaces that ask to be touched; veining no other piece will ever repeat. Natural stone carries geological memory: each marble coffee table that leaves our atelier is, quite literally, one of one. We favour travertine for its mineral warmth and porous texture, and reach for Carrara, Nero Marquina or Calacatta Viola marble when a room calls for more presence. Every table is handmade to order with a lead time of 60–90 days, and is delivered to your home across Europe. We do not mass-produce and we do not hold stock: we make pieces that stay for decades. Whether you are after a round travertine coffee table, a low marble table for an interiors project, or a fully custom piece, this collection is the starting point. The rest is a conversation.
Before you order
How do I clean a travertine coffee table?
With a soft cloth, warm water and pH-neutral soap. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, lemon, limescale removers); they etch calcareous stone. Always dry with a cloth to prevent water rings.
Does a travertine table need sealing? How often?
Yes. Every table ships pre-sealed with a penetrating impregnator. We recommend re-sealing every 12–18 months under normal use: a simple few-minute application that keeps the surface protected against staining.
Will the veining match the photos exactly?
Close, never identical. Travertine and marble are natural stones: veining, porosity and tone vary block to block. That variation is the signature of the material, not a flaw. On request, we share photos of your actual block before carving.
What is the lead time?
Each table is handmade to order: lead time is 60–90 days from confirmation. Flagship pieces include home delivery within the EU.
